A good friend of mine told me that I made Decatur look too dreary with just pictures of the Staley plant in the last post. So here are some pictures I took walking downtown, around and about, and at the Juneteenth Festival.
Just so you know, the memorial statue is of Stephen Decatur, where Decatur gets its namesake. I was surprised reading the inscription, though. It says something to the effect, better that your country be in the right, but if not, my country right or wrong!
